Amon Sûl Podcast: The Bridge of Kotar-dûm

So a few weeks ago, I did a wonderful podcast recording with Fr. Andrew Stephen Damick, who has just started a new Tolkien podcast!

Amon Sul

What? There are too many Tolkien podcasts already? Well, you haven’t heard anything like this one, let me tell you! The Amon Sûl podcast looks at Tolkien’s work through the specific prism of the Orthodox Christian worldview, which makes for some fascinating discussions that you really won’t find anywhere else.

Fr. Andrew and I talked about Tolkien’s famous essay “On Fairy Stories,” storytelling, Christian hagiography and culture, and their benefit to spiritual life. We then wrapped up with a strange and wonderful journey into the wild world of Russian Tolkien fandom.

You don’t want to miss this one 🙂

Gift alert! I’m offering a free download of the fantasy map for my Raven Son universe. Interested? Add your email below so I can share it with you!
